Nathan Nokes






Nathan Nokes is an undergraduate at Washington State University, where he’s studied composition under Dr Ryan Hare, and Dr. Charles Argersinger. He is currently also studying jazz and classical piano, as well as electronic music. While attending WSU he has taken master classes from composers such as John Corigliano , Ellsworth Milburn, and David Crumb. Nathan intends to continue his education in music after his graduation from WSU, and receive his masters and doctorate degrees in Music Composition and Theory.
This summer I hope to working on some vocal music as well as finish a tape and piano piece that I set aside for a few months.

This is a sine wave composition I created 2002. The project was based off of an evenly tempered micro tonal scale. The Octave was divided into 15 note instead of the usual 12.


One's Regret
