Leah Sproul was born in Dallas, but grew up right outside of San Juan, Puerto Rico. When her family moved back to the states, she began taking piano lessons. In high school she picked up guitar, bass, singing and songwriting. She is currently majoring in music composition with an emphasis in Piano. She is studying composition with Dr. Edward Knight, piano with Jeannie Clewell, percussion with Dr. David Steffens, and clarinet with Chad Burrow. She hopes to finish her BM in composition and continue graduate studies in the same field. |
