I am a composer native to Show Low, Arizona. Heard of it? Maybe not, but it was named by the turn of a card back in the day. A good ol' gambling town. In fact, the tourist delight called Hon-Dah Casino keeps the gamblin' spirit alive. Oh, I write music for the concert stage (usually inside the hallowed halls of a university). Recent performances include: "A Parenthetical (Meditation)" for piano, pre-recorded sounds, and noise oscillators; "Amazing Effort Crystallized" for soprano, and piano trio; "The Uninhibited Flows of Tubular Waters" for amplified piano and seven wind instruments. In order of appearance I have studied with the following teachers:
My cool wife, Laci: aka Wonder Woman-therapist-extraordinaire, and Westie: McDuff "the Buddy" will be moving to Boston with me (they are nice). I am going to study music composition for a few more years at Brandeis University |
