Ferdinando De Sena

Brooklyn born composer living in Miami. He teaches composition and electronic music at the New World School of the Arts. Formerly directed he Electronic Music Studio at the University of Miami.

Scholarly interests include musical aesthetics, and the analysis of popular music. Fred De Sena’s music has been performed at international, national, and regional conferences and at many other concert and theatrical venues including National University of Ireland, Maynooth, BitBang Festival in Firenze, Recoleta Centro Cultural and Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, and the Puerto Rico Conservatory.
