Edward D. Wood IV is a tubist, composer and graduate student born in Tampa Florida where he lived for 11 years before moving to Conway Arkansas. He started his musical training on tuba at age 12. He took an interest in composition at age 16 during his freshman year of high school. His musical influences were baroque composers Johann Pachelbel, Thomaso Albinoni, Antonio Bertali, and Giovanni Legrenzi. He is currently studying music composition at the University of Central Arkansas with Dr. Paul Dickinson. He has written works from brass duets to full orchestral works. In March of 2018, He was commissioned write music for a benefit concert for Hope Outreach hosted by the University of Central Arkansas Honors College. In April of 2018, his saxophone quartet was nominated and publicly performed at the Society of Composers Region VI Conference.
