Suite from "Nothing"
0:00
Suite from Nothing began as a quick exercise in writing a symphonic love theme but quickly snowballed into a cinematic suite with various themes and sections. With no film to write for, hence the title, I instead attempted to capture emotions that could easily be translated into film. Contrary to the usual order of business, I filmed Nothing (titled so as to keep the music’s title true) after I wrote the music. I molded the story, a tale of longing for the past, after the emotions present in the music. Of course, as with other films I’ve made, nothing is to be taken too seriously.
