Region IV issues a Call for Scores for its 1998 Regional Conference. Composers are invited to submit works for any combination of the following: fl (2), ob, cl (2), bn, trbn (2), vn (2), va, vc, pf, harp, and perc. Composers who can provide their own performers or perform their own pieces are encouraged to submit. Students are encouraged to submit works for 2 student concerts--preference will be given to students providing their own performers. Please send scores and cassette or CD recordings to:

Submissions should include: a brief biographical sketch (including SCI affiliation) and a SASE for return of materials. Composers whose works are programed are expected to attend the conference and become members of SCI.
