There are many options open to people who wish to join the Society of Composers, Inc. With a membership to SCI, you will be able to submit your creative work to the numerous Regional and National Conferences hosted at various colleges and universities across the U.S. Additionally, members receive a newsletter and the SCION Opportunities Update List. SCI maintains a strong presence on the world wide web, and invites members to submit works to Composerver, a streaming audio and video archive of works by SCI-member Composers, as well as to create a SCI Profile Webpage where you can share your bio, contact information, and calendar of events, or any other activity and information with the world. Other benefits include the submission of tapes for the SCI CD Series and scores to the SCI Journal of Music Scores. Students may fully participate in the regional and National conferences as well as submit scores to their own SCI Student National Conference.

One-year Full Membership costs only $55
One-Year Joint Membership costs only $75
One-Year Senior Membership costs only $27.50 (open to those 65 years of age or older)
One-Year Student Membership costs only $27.50
One-Year Student Chapter Membership costs only $17.50 (same as student membership, but only available on campuses that have an established SCI student chapter) Important: Be sure to indicate your student chapter in the optional comments field when checking out.
One-Year Proxy Membership costs only $65 (Open to the widow(er), longtime companion, friend, or estate of a deceased composer)
